Bakers' Boot Camp

My Facebook group, We Bake with Love, is celebrating its 1st year anniversary this month! And so I asked our members how they want to celebrate this momentous event. After reading all their requests, I came up with an activity that will surely bring more value to our members—a Bakers' Boot Camp!

During the boot camp, there will be a baking demo wherein participants will learn new recipes for dessert buffets that they can offer to your customers. These recipes include brownies, mini cupcakes, peanut bars, and fudge balls. Aside from knowing additional baking techniques, we also invited an expert on event styling who will teach us important tips on how to style a dessert table. We will have a speaker who will give us insights on food photography so we’ll learn how to take beautiful pictures of our products. In addition to that, we’ll also share our best practices on social media marketing so we can maximize our profits. As part of our advocacy for holistic entrepreneurial growth, a speaker will help us manage our finances to ensure that our profits will even become more valuable for us and our families. Aside from learning from each other, we will have a bake exchange where each participant will give out a baking tool in exchange for another tool from another participant.

We explored on venues in Los Banos where we can conduct this activity. However, the rates are higher than expected and we don’t want to overcharge the registration fee just because of the venue. So we decided to just do it at The Pastry House. We will open up limited seats, and so every interested participant must reserve a seat by signing up this form. After signing up, we will send you an e-mail about the payment procedure. To get the slot, the registration fee must be paid within 3 days, so we know if we can give the reserved seat to another person. Boot camp fee is PHP1,500.00 only, which covers lunch, snacks, ingredients for the demo, venue, boot camp kit, and other expenses.
